Junior Consultant

Dr Rajendra Kumar K P working as junior consultant in department of critical care and emergency has completed his MBBS from Karnataka institute of medical sciences (KIMS ) Hubli in 2007 and MD in anaesthesiology from K S Hegde Medical Academy, Mangalore in 2011. Later did his fellowship in critical care (FNB) from Bombay hospital, Mumbai in 2014. Trained under the guidance of Dr Pravin Amin and Dr Sanjay Wagle was involved in various international and national studies during the fellowship tenure. Interested in academics and is a trained instructor in BLS and ACLS course as per American heart association.

After completion of fellowship worked for a brief period in closed ICU at Manipal hospital, Bangalore later shifted to Sparsh multispeciality hospital.

Special interest in Hemodynamic stability - fluids, use of flowtek, pulse counter cardiac output (PiCCO), management of sepsis, Ultrasound for central line insertion, lung ultrasonography, Mechanical ventilation & percutaneous tracheostomy, antibiotic stewardship, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
