Airport Pick-up and Hotel Pick-up
Airport Pickup: The Airport Manager or the hospital representative shall be available at the airport to receive you. He will escort you till the hospital vehicle from where your driver will bring you directly to the hospital or the hotel/guest house, in case you are coming for the health check-up or investigations. Please be advised that this service is complimentary and you do not need to pay.
Hotel Pickup and Drop: Our hotel/guest house provides you with free pickup and drop facility to hospital and back to the hotel/guest house round the clock. Please contact the hotel/guest house reception to avail the facility.
Reporting at the hospital (for OPD patients)
You advised to report at next day morning with your passport. or if you wish to visit hospital on the same day, you are requested to report at any time before 4:00 PM (IST)
IMPORTANT NOTE: There are dedicated coordinators that will take care of you in the hospital and post discharge. You will be guided at each and every step in order to make your stay smooth and easy.
The Hospital Process
Direct Admission: You shall be directly admitted in the hospital on arrival and the necessary medical investigations and test (as recommended by your doctor) shall be conducted at the earliest. The investigations and examinations may take 2-3 days depending upon the type of investigations. However, please take a note that the final decision on direct admission in the hospital shall depend upon your doctor.
OPD Patient: The patients staying in the hotel are required to come to the hospital on OPD basis for the necessary medical investigations and examinations. The investigations and examinations may take 3-4 days depending upon the type of investigations.
You will meet your manager once you are at the hospital. You will be given a form to fill up your details to get you registered at the hospital. A unique hospital id will be generated for you which will be your reference number for all the kind of activities in hospital.
IMPORTANT NOTE: As per the government of India rule it is mandatory for every guest (patient/attendants) to give correct details of their nationality at the time of registration. Please bring your passports for the registration and verify that the nationality mentioned in the hospital registration is correct.
Immigration/Visa and Registration You are requested to check the validity of your visa and show the visa to the coordinators for confirmation.
As per the rule of the government of India, it is mandatory to get registered at Foreigner’s Registration Regulatory Authority of India (FRRO) within 14 days of your arrival to India.
In case of extension of the visa, you are requested to coordinate with coordinators to facilitate the visa extension process in advance and before the expiry of the visa.
The dedicated coordinators shall coordinate with you to carry out all the formalities for immigration office registration.
Confirmation of Treatment Plan and Cost
Once the initial investigations and examinations are done your doctor shall confirm the Treatment Plan and duration of stay in the hospital and post discharge. Based on the treatment plan the International Department shall confirm the cost of the treatment. depending upon the room category i.e. Deluxe Room/Private Room/Semi-Private Room. Please be advised that the treatment plan and the cost of the treatment may differ from the treatment plan and cost that may have been given to you before arrival.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The International Department shall appoint a dedicated person for all your coordination in the hospital.
Hospital Admission (for OPD patients) & Discharge The treatment shall immediately start once the treatment plan and cost is confirmed and accepted by you. In case of OPD patient, the International Department shall assist you in getting admitted in the hospital. The medical staff shall be available round the clock to take care of you.
At the time of discharge from hospital, you shall be given a Discharge Summary containing a brief about your medical management and treatment during hospitalization and post discharge. The Medical Staff will explain you all details regarding medications and follow-up schedule.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Please inform the International Department, if you have filled any Airline Medical Form (MEDIF/MEDA). This is mandatory and required for arranging your return back to your country after treatment.
Health Check-up Package The appointments for a whole body health check can be taken from our Dedicated International Patient Coordinator or it can be on walk-in basis. You are requested to report to hospital at 8:00 AM (IST). You should be under overnight fasting.
All activities in the health checkup package will be coordinated by our executives available at health check department.
Hospital Bills and the Payment All hospital bills should be paid in ADVANCE in USD.
For OPD patients: You may pay the bills individually every time you take the services. It is recommended that you deposit an advance in your hospital account so that every time when you take a service, the bill will be debited from the advance, this will help you decreasing your movements to billing desk and save your time. You shall be given a bill for every transaction done in hospital.
For In-patient: You need to make the payment at the time of admission (for OPD patients) or at the time of confirming the cost for the In-patients. The entire hospital bill will have to be cleared by the patient before discharge.
Payment Mode: The payment can be done in cash (only in USD) at the hospital counter or can be directly transferred to the hospital bank account (before arrival).

Helping your friends or Referring a Patient
Please contact the International Department for referring any patients to SH.
Check-List before departure from India
After the completion of treatment, you are ready to fly back. Your airport drop will be arranged by the International Department. Please ensure that you have all the important documents and completed all the necessary formalities before you plan your way back.

Please do not pay any money to the translators for translations since it is complimentary. Please inform International Division immediately if someone is asking money from you.
All the payment shall be done at the cash counter and please take the receipt of the payment
