Dr Yogesh Siddalingaiah is currently working as a consultant in emergency medicine department. He did his MBBS from JSS medical college Mysore. He is a Fellow in Emergency Medicine (FEM) from St Johns medical college hospital, a fellowship granted from Society of Emergency Medicine in India (SEMI). He has Membership of Royal College of Emergency Medicine (MRCEM) from United Kingdom. He has an experience of working in emergency medicine department for more than 5 years as junior / senior resident and registrar. As a consultant he is working with us since October 2015. Prior to this, he was working as the in-charge of accident and emergency medicine department at Manipal Hospitals, Vijayawada and Kasturba Medical College , Mangalore. He has experience in training hospital staffs in BLS and ACLS on regular basis under American Heart Association (AHA) since 2011. He is a AHA certified BLS and ACLS trainer. He is a Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and an American College of Surgeons (ACS) certified ATLS provider. He has experience of being as a faculty in organising committee of CMEs at St Johns Medical College. (A) ABCDE of Trauma CME 2012. (B) Toxicology CME 2013. (C) EMPACT 2014. He has experience in training factory workers, mechanics and engineers in AHA certified First Aid course on regular basis.
He visits as a trainer in ETLS ( Emergency Trauma Life Support) course for doctors at St Johns Medical college Hospital conducted quarterly a year. He has bagged first prizes for poster presentation in INDUSEM national conference for two consecutive years, i.e 2010 (Baroda) and 2011(Delhi). Has presented paper on Trauma in Pregnancy at EMCON 2011(Kolkata) national conference. His main interests are in Resuscitation medicine and Disaster Medicine. He is versed in emergency ultrasound and ultrasound guided procedures.
