Dr. Anju Namashivaya

Dr. Anju Namashivaya is a Consultant in Fetal Medicine, SPARSH Hospital, Bangalore. She completed her under graduation from Bangalore Medical College in 2002. Her passion to come to grips with the health issues of Women & Children and work on the best with her best healthcare practice took her to the UK. While at Northern Ireland deanery in the UK, she started her training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She obtained the Membership of Royal college of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (MRCOG) in 2010.
Dr. Anju has been practising Fetal medicine since 2011. Her forte has been simple & effective communication. With her inherent multilingual skills, she can speak 6 different languages and hence can cater to couples or individuals from different parts of the country seeking medical advice and second opinions. She believes every pregnancy is precious and must get the best and affordable treatment. She also believes that Multidisciplinary management is the way forward in providing optimal patient care. During her training in the UK, she also qualified and worked towards Diploma in faculty of reproductive and sexual health (DFSRH) and Diploma of Royal college of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (DRCOG).
Coming back to India she pursued a full-time 2-year Fellowship in Fetal Medicine, so as to amplify her knowledge the perinatology discipline. She is licensed to perform fetal scans by the Fetal medicine Foundation-FMF, UK. She has also been performing fetal invasive tests regularly since. She has been a part of MRCOG training group of doctors in Bangalore and panellist on AICC- RCOG annual conference. Dr. Anju recently obtained a Diploma in Maternal and fetal Medicine and Obstetrical care from the University of Schleswig Holstein- Kiel, Germany.
