Dr Taranath Kamath is a Consultant Intensivist at SPARSH Hospital, Bengaluru. Having graduated from J.S.S Medical College, Mysore, Dr Taranath completed his post-graduation Diplomate National Board (DNB) examinations in Anesthesiology from the prestigious institute Narayana Health, Bengaluru. He then completed his IDCCM from Fortis Hospital, Bannerghatta Road, Bengaluru, and the European Diploma in Intensive Care (EDIC) from the European Society of Intensive Care Medicine (ESICM), Brussels, Belgium. He worked as an Attending Consultant at Fortis Hospital, Cunningham Road, Bengaluru, before joining SSNMC Super Specialty Hospital in 2019. He is now a consultant at SS SPARSH Hospitals, Mysore Road. Dr Taranath has a special interest in Cardiovascular and Neuro Critical care, Extracorporeal Life Support, ARDS, Critical Care Ultrasound, and hospital emergency systems. He is passionate about teaching and has been at the forefront of training doctors and nurses with the latest advances in critical care. Dr Taranath firmly believes in early detection and timely intervention in the critically ill to attain better outcomes. He ensures that utmost priority is given to patient safety and quality care.
