Dr. Puneeth Jayanna is a Junior Consultant at the Critical Care Medicine Department at SPARSH Hospital, Infantry Road. He did his MBBS from Rajarajeshwari Medical College, Bangalore, and completed his post-graduation in MD (Anaesthesiology) from SDM College of Medical Sciences and Hospital. After his masters, he has worked in the Department of Anaesthesiology and Critical Care at Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences in Bengaluru where he was involved in training the post graduate students. Later He pursued his fellowship in Critical Care Medicine (IDCCM) from Manipal Hospital (previously Vikram Hospital), Bangalore. He is well experienced in handling emergency cases and ventilator support, renal replacement therapy, IABP and ICP control. He has experience in supervising patients on ECMO for respiratory and cardiac failure, vascular access with CVC line, PAC, vascath insertion, percutaneous tracheostomy, chest drain insertion, excellent skills in managing airway and ACLS. He is Academically involved with publication of an article in European journal of anaesthesiology and also contributed as an author in critical care medicine textbook (bench to bedside). Dr. Puneeth Jayanna is an excellent communicator, his areas of interest include managing emergencies in ICU and BLS training.
