Dr Alagu Pandiyan, has completed his medical graduation from KVG Medical college, Sullia, Mangalore. He started his orthopaedic career from Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences in 2010, Amrita being a tertiary centre, he was exposed to a wide array of complex orthopaedic cases.
He then went onto do his DNB in Orthopaedics from Medical Trust Hospital, Kochi, being one of the the busiest Trauma centres in South India he was exposed to complex polytrauma cases. After DNB, he persued fellowship in Trauma and Orthopaedics from Medical Trust Hospital.
He continued as a Junior consultant in Arthoplasty division where he was trained in Total Knee and Total Hip replacement surgeries. In 2018 he moved to SPARSH and has extensively worked in Arthroscopy and Arthroplasty units.Currently, he is working as a consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon in SPARSH Yeshwanthpur unit. His main interest is complex trauma, primary Knee and Hip Replacement and Arthroscopic surgeries.
