Dr Shamkiran has completed his training in paediatrics and paediatric endocrinology from one of the premier institutions Indira Gandhi Institute of Child Health Bangalore. His expertise lies in the diagnosis and treatment of hormonal imbalances and related disorders in children and adolescents such as failure of growth, obesity, hypothyroidism, puberty related problems and type 1 diabetes. He is at the forefront of utilizing innovative tools and devices to enhance the care of children with diabetes from continuous glucose monitors to insulin pump. He focuses on providing compassionate care to all children with chronic conditions to ensure a better quality of life.
