Dr. Sudhakar Banakar is a Consultant in Diagnostic and Nonvascular Interventional Radiology with nearly 8+ years of experience in the field. He completed his graduation from the prestigious Mysore medical college and research institute in the year 2009. He then completed his DMRD from JJM Medical College, Davanagere and secondary DNB in Radiodiagnosis from Indira Gandhi Govt General hospital and postgraduate institute, Puducherry. He has also done his Fellowship in Musculoskeletal MRI from Innovision Imaging and Sportsmed Hospital, Mumbai and Fellowship in Fetal medicine from Adi Advanced Centre for Fetal care, Bengaluru. His areas of interest are Musculoskeletal and Fetal imaging. He has special interest in ultrasound and CT guided interventions including image guided biopsies, catheter insertion and joint injections. He is also a member of Indian Radiological Imaging Association (IRIA) and Society of Fetal Medicine.
