Dr Anagha Samarth is a Consultant in Dermatology at SPARSH Hospital Infantry Road and Yeshwanthpur. A board-certified Dermatologist, she has vast experience in the field spanning almost 10 years. After completing her M.B.B.S from M.S Ramaiah Medical College, she pursued her M.D in Dermatology, Venereology and Leprology. Driven by her constant simmering interest in the surgical aspects of skin, she went on to pursue her Fellowship in Dermatosurgery from the prestigious Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute. Here she trained extensively in hair transplantation, skin surgeries, vitiligo surgeries, mole excisions and scar revision surgeries to name a few. Skin cancers form a significant part of Dermatology and Dermatosurgery. To gain more experience in this field she moved to the UK to work in the renowned NHS. She was part of an excellent skin cancer team at Clifton Hospital, Lytham St Annes. While working here, she went on to complete the ever-challenging MRCP SCE (Dermatology) exam. She also successfully completed her PG cert in Aesthetic medicine, injectables and lasers from one of UK’s high ranking, Manchester University. She currently has the license to practice in the UK. She also has many national and international publications under her belt. She has presented multiple papers in national and international conferences. She has attended numerous workshops sponsored by the IADVL and BAD. Being a millennial Dermatologist, she believes the only way to provide the best care is to work tirelessly combining recent research, methods, and skills to achieve commendable results. She believes in a holistic approach and aims to help her patients in the best possible way taking this into account. Attention to detail is her forte, something she never wishes to compromise. Having worked in the NHS which is one of the best healthcare systems in the world she will work to incorporate the best of this into her everyday practice.
