Dr. Beenish Nazir is a Consultant Rheumatologist at SPARSH Hospital, Infantry Road. After completing her MBBS from Govt. Medical College Srinagar, J&K, she worked in many prestigious hospitals both in India and abroad such as Ram Manohar Lohia, New Delhi and MOH, Saudi Arabia. She later completed her DNB through National Board of Examinations at Shelby Hospitals, Chandigarh. She has worked in the Dept. of Internal Medicine at St. Martha’s Hospital, Bangalore. She developed a keen interest in autoimmune diseases post which she did a PG Diploma in Rheumatology from John Hopkins Medical Centre , USA. She also pursued a fellowship from Guy’s & Thomas Hospital, UK under the guidance of David D’Cruz. She is well versed in managing diverse medical and Rheumatological conditions. In cases where it is required, she performs MSUSG and administers intrarticular injections. Her special interest lies in treating inflammatory arthritis, connective tissue disease, vasculitis, spondyloarthropathies and Psoriasis. She is an excellent clinician and devotes lot of time in understanding the patients’ disease and advices treatment as per the latest protocols.
