Dr. N Raghu is a senior consultant ophthalmologist presently working at SPARSH Hospital, Yeshwanthpur. He was senior consultant in Apollo Hospital, Seshadripuram branch from 2019 to 2022. He was medical director and senior consultant in Dr Agarwal’s eye hospital in Cornea and refractive Department from 2011 to 2019. He is a visiting consultant to Dr Kong Pieseth eye hospital Phnom penh, Cambodia. He was also a visiting surgeon at Salem, Erode and Hosur hospitals for consultation and surgeries. Dr N. Raghu did his primary and secondary education in Mysore and then he did his MBBS from Mysore Medical College and graduated in 2004. He did his Masters of Surgery (M.S) from the prestigious institute PGI Chandigarh in 2009 where he got silver medal and was the topper in his department. He did his Fellowship in Cornea and external eye disease from RGUHS and Fellowship in Cornea and refractive Surgery from Narayana Nethralaya, Bangalore. He has done his PDCR Professional diploma in clinical research from catalyst institute .Later he joined as Consultant in Cornea and Refractive Department in Ojas Laser Eye center, Mumbai till 2011. Dr N Raghu has done more than 500 cornea transplants which have given sight to needy people and children. He has been doing other surgeries like LASIK, PRK, SMILE and other refractive surgery since 2009.He has done more than 20000 Refractive surgeries till date. He is a certified surgeon for ICL (Phakic IOL) from STAAR Surgicals. He is a certified surgeon for VISX, Intralase from Abbott Medical Optics (AMO). He is a certified surgeon for Zeiss surgical for FLEX and SMILE surgery. He has published many articles in Indexed Journals and few of them are Journal of EYE, JCRS, IJO and others. He has presented many scientific papers and presentations nationally and internationally and in that to highlight

• WOC 2010 a paper on retinoblastoma
• NJOC where he got best paper award for a paper on Glaucoma

He has been chairperson, convener, moderator in many conferences. He has published many articles in newspapers like Times of India, Indian express, Hindu, Sudha, Kannada prabha. He has been an invited speaker in All India radio, and many TV channels. He has given many talks regarding Diwali eye protection and precautions, on eye donation and other eye problems.

• He has done a lot of charity work during his career by conducting public camps and doing free eye surgeries.
• He has done clinical trials for US based company Foresight and was one of the key principal investigators for that project.
