Dr. Naushad Ahmed Peeran is an accomplished Senior Consultant Interventional Cardiologist who previously held the position of the Head of the Department of Cardiology at Shifaa Hospital in Bangalore. With a career spanning over two decades, Dr. Naushad has established himself in the field of cardiology, specialising in interventional procedures to address complex cardiac issues. Before joining Shifaa Hospital, Dr. Naushad worked as a Consultant Interventional Cardiologist at Narayana Hrudayalaya Institute of Cardiac Sciences. During this time, he has gained extensive experience in performing coronary angiography, right heart catheterization and percutaneous coronary angioplasties. His skills also encompass complex coronary angioplasties, rotational atherectomy and intravascular imaging studies. Dr. Naushad’s academic journey began with his MBBS from Sri Siddartha Medical College in Tumkur, Karnataka followed by his MD in General Medicine from the esteemed MS Ramaiah Medical College, Bangalore and DNB in cardiology Narayana Hrudayalaya Institute of Cardiac Sciences in Bangalore, where he honed his clinical expertise.
