Dr. Naveen S Tahasildar is a highly accomplished and skilled Spine Surgeon with a rich academic and professional background. He completed his M.S. Orthopaedics from the prestigious Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh. Prior to that, he earned his MBBS degree from J.N Medical College, Belgaum, Karnataka, with outstanding academic achievements. Dr. Tahasildar has extensive experience as a Consultant Spine Surgeon, previously having served at NH Orthopaedics, Spine, and Trauma Care Hospital, Bangalore. Over the past year, he has successfully performed over 2000 surgeries, focusing on complex spinal deformities, tumours and revision spine procedures. His expertise also extends to cervical spine disorders. Throughout his career, Dr. Tahasildar has held key positions and actively contributed to the field. He served as a Consultant Spine Surgeon at Sparsh Hospitals from 2014 to 2022, where he independently managed the spine unit, performing over 1500 surgeries. His commitment to academia is evident in his role as an AO Spine Delegate and Executive Committee member of the Association of Spine Surgeons of India. Dr. Tahasildar’s international exposure includes Australian Orthopedic Association Accredited Fellowship at Melbourne, a Short-Term Spine Fellowship in Aarhus University, Denmark, and an Orthopaedic Trauma Fellowship in Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Hong Kong. He has presented at various national and international conferences, reflecting his dedication to advancing spinal surgery knowledge. As a published author, his research interests focus on scoliosis, with six articles published in international journals. Dr. Naveen S Tahasildar has actively participated in numerous courses and conferences, showcasing his commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
