Dr. Sandesh Onkarappa is a Consultant Neurosurgeon and Spine surgeon at SPARSH Superspeciality Hospital, Yeswanthpur. Dr. Sandesh has completed his graduation (MBBS) from Shimoga Institute of Medical Sciences, then he pursued MS in General Surgery and then further accomplished MCh degree in Neurosurgery from the prestigious institution. Also, he has a DNB-Neurosurgery degree from the National Board of Examinations, India, to his credits. Dr. Sandesh has several papers, publications, and awards to his credit. He has presented a remarkable number of scientific papers on national and international platforms. Recently, Dr. Sandesh & his team received the PAUL DUDLEY WHITE International Scholar award for highest-ranked abstract from INDIA at INTERNATIONAL STROKE CONFERENCE 2021 by American Heart Association. He has performed more than 1500 Neurosurgical & spinal procedures in his last 4 years of industry experience in his area of specialization. He has expertise in complex neurosurgical and spinal surgeries, has a special interest in minimally invasive spine surgery and Neuronavigation-guided surgeries.
