Dr. Shilpa S V is a Consultant Biochemist at SPARSH Hospital, Bangalore. Dr. Shilpa completed her graduation from Sri Devaraj Urs Medical college and completed her MD from JSS Medical College, Mysore. She has secured top rankings and was awarded a gold medal in her MD degree batch. She has worked as a Consultant Biochemist in Strand Life Sciences (CAP and NABL accredited laboratory) at HCG hospital, Bangalore. She has also successfully completed the ‘ISO 15189:2012 Internal Auditor Training’ Course. She represented the Laboratory for CAP and NABL external assessments and successfully completed the audit. She has authored several national publications and has presented in many respected national conferences. Her strength lies in hormone assays, tumour markers, serum and urine protein electrophoresis, immunotyping, nephelometery, newborn screening, SDS-PAGE, Western blot, HPLC, and thin layer chromatography.
