Dr. Suraj Kumar Kulkarni, a highly accomplished Interventional Cardiologist, previously served as a Consultant in Cardiology at Bhagwaan Mahaveer Jain Hospital in Bangalore, Karnataka, a position he had held since May 2019. Prior to this, he worked as an Associate Consultant Cardiologist at Apollo Hospitals in Bangalore from September 2018 to April 2019. His academic journey includes a notable tenure as an Assistant Professor at Sri Jayadeva Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences and Research in Bangalore from September 2016 to September 2018.

Having completed his MBBS from Sri Devaraj Urs Medical College in Kolar, Karnataka, Dr. Kulkarni earned his Doctor of Medicine in Internal Medicine from RNT Medical College in Udaipur, Rajasthan, with a dissertation on the conventional cardiovascular risk factor profile of patients undergoing coronary angiography. He furthered his education with a Doctorate of Medicine in Cardiology in 2016 from King George’s Medical University in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. His dissertation focused on the “Study of outcome of culprit only versus multivessel percutaneous intervention in patients of ST elevation myocardial infarction and multivessel disease undergoing percutaneous coronary interventions” within the Department of Cardiology at KGMU, Lucknow.

Dr. Kulkarni has actively contributed to the medical field through conference presentations and publications. Noteworthy presentations include discussions on cardiovascular risk factors, outcomes of different interventions in myocardial infarction cases, and rare cases of cardiac tumours and complications. His research has been published in reputable journals, demonstrating his commitment to advancing medical knowledge.
