He completed his MBBS from KIMS, Hubli in 2004 followed by MD Internal Medicine in 2009 and DM – Gastroenterology in 2013 from M S Ramaiah Medical College, Bangalore. He is the recipient of the IAMICON Gold Medal for DM Gastroenterology 2015. He has received a Fellowship in EUS from Wuhan university (china) 2019 .
Post his DM, he worked as Faculty and Senior Consultant in the Dept. of Gastroenterology at the MS Ramaiah Medical College for 8 years.
