Dr Manohar S is a Consultant General, Laparoscopic, Robotic Surgeon at Sparsh Group of Hospitals. He completed his MBBS from Bangalore Medical College and pursued his General Surgery post graduation (DNB) from KMCH, Coimbatore. He holds fellowships in Laparoscopic Surgery (FIAGES, FMAS) and Robotic Surgery (FALS ROBOTIC) and has trained under top Laparoscopic, GI and Liver Transplant surgeons in high-volume centres.
His areas of interest include Robotic GI surgery, hernia surgery, gall bladder surgery, appendix surgery, GERD procedures and obesity surgery. He is well versed in thyroid surgery, breast surgery, amputations, piles and fistula surgery. He is a strong proponent of an evidence-based, patient-centric approach in healthcare.
He serves as faculty for the post graduation course (DNB General Surgery) and is part of a team that regularly conducts Surgical CMEs.
