Dr. Sanjit Gogoi

Dr. Sanjit Gogoi is an accomplished General and Laparoscopic Surgeon with extensive experience in advanced minimally invasive surgical procedures. Currently practicing as a Consultant – General & Minimal Access Surgery at SPARSH Hospital, Sarjapur Road, he is known for his precision, patient-centric care, and commitment to achieving optimal surgical outcomes.

Over the span of his career, Dr. Gogoi has successfully performed more than 4,000 surgeries, covering a wide range of general and laparoscopic procedures. His areas of surgical expertise include hernia repairs, complex gallbladder surgeries, LASER proctology, and venous procedures such as Endovenous Laser Ablation (EVLA), GLU therapy, and microsurgical treatment for varicocele. His approach ensures minimal pain, faster recovery, and improved post-operative outcomes for patients.

Dr. Gogoi completed his MBBS from Kathmandu University, Nepal, and obtained his MS in General Surgery from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka. He further advanced his global surgical acumen by earning the Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS), Edinburgh in 2016, gaining exposure to advanced laparoscopic and robotic-assisted techniques.

Before joining SPARSH, he served at reputed healthcare institutions and was instrumental in mentoring and training over 50 young surgeons and DNB trainees, reflecting his dedication to clinical excellence and surgical education.
