Dr. Swapna completed her MBBS from the prestigious Grant Medical College and Sir J.J. Group of Hospitals, Mumbai. She is a Member of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP), United Kingdom, and holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Cardiology (PGDCC) from Manipal Hospital, Bangalore.
Her clinical interests include the management of Anemia, Asthma, Allergies, Thyroid disorders, Diabetes mellitus, Fever work up, Infections diseases. She is skilled in handling critically ill patients in CCU and medical ICUs.
With over 12 years of experience in Cardiology and the Coronary Care Unit, she has extensive expertise in managing hypertension, heart failure, dyslipidemia (cholesterol disorders), cardiac arrhythmias, and valvular heart diseases. She has a special interest in Preventive Cardiology and possesses in-depth knowledge of ECG interpretation and Echocardiography.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Swapna treated thousands of patients and was recognized as a Frontline COVID Warrior by her previous organization. She was also awarded for Exceptional Performance and Exceeding Expectations.
