Dr. Veerendra Koujalagi is a highly qualified and experienced gastroenterologist. With an academic background including MBBS from JJMMC Davangere, MD in General Medicine from Assam Medical College, and DM in Medical Gastroenterology from Govt. Medical College Calicut, he brings a wealth of knowledge to his practice. Dr. Veerendra has a diverse work history, having served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of General Medicine at JJMMC, Davangere, and later as a Senior Resident in the Department of Gastroenterology at JIPMER, Pondicherry. His commitment to academia continued with a role as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Gastroenterology at Govt. Medical College, Calicut. Prior to this, Veerendra served as a dedicated consultant at Columbia Asia/Manipal Hospitals in Hebbal. Dr. Veerendra Koujalagi is not only well-versed in endoscopy and colonoscopy but also skilled in various interventions, such as polypectomy, PEG tube placement, NJ tube placement, foreign body removal, and Endotherapy for GI bleeds. Impressively, he has independently performed ERCP, including biliary and pancreatic work, over the past four years. He has also conducted diagnostic EUS and FNA procedures in over 50 patients.
