Dr. Anjali R Nath is a Consultant Pulmonologist at SPARSH Hospital, Infantry Road. Dr. Anjali completed her graduation from Government Medical College in Thrissur, Kerala, and then moved to Chennai to pursue a diploma in Tuberculosis and Chest Diseases from Madras Medical College. Post completing her diploma, she also obtained DNB in Respiratory Medicine from Apollo Hospitals, Hyderabad. She is a self-motivated and clinically-competent person who gives her best to the patient-centric approach. She has presented her works at many national-level conferences. She has a special interest in infectious diseases, including tuberculosis, airway disorders, pleural pathologies, interstitial lung diseases and sleep disorders.
She is also an expert in the following procedures: video bronchoscopy — visualisation, bronchial wash, brushing, endobronchial and transbronchial biopsy, TBNA, intercostal tube drainage, pleural biopsy, diagnostic or therapeutic pleural fluid aspiration, BiPAP, CPAP support, and fine needle aspiration of lymph node and lung lesions.
