Dr. Asher George Joseph is a surgeon specializing in Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery. Beginning his medical training in 2007 and entering the surgical field in 2013, he has since gained extensive experience in complex procedures. In 2017, he started advanced training in Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery, working alongside accomplished mentors and colleagues. CLINICAL TRIALS:
- Sub investigator in the FIBRINOGEN trial which is a Multicentre, Randomized, Double-Blind, Placebo-Controlled, Parallel, Phase III Study to assess the efficacy and safety of Fibrinogen Concentrate (FGTW) in the Management of bleeding in patients undergoing complex cardiac surgery (Involving CPB). It is being held in 14 sites across 5 countries.
- Sub Investigator in the ROMA Trial: Approximately 2000 participants will take part in this trial worldwide in at least 25 international centres. 210 participants will be recruited in up to 20 NHS Trusts across UK.
