Dr Mohammed Farooq Khateeb is a SENIOR CONSULTANT in the department of General and Gastrointestinal surgery. He graduated from VIMS, Bellary and did his post-graduation from KIMS Hubli. He also holds a fellowship in metabolic and bariatric surgeries.
He has more than 18 + years of experience in his area of specialization. He has served as a consultant in major hospitals of Bangalore. He has been a faculty for DNB teaching programmes.
He has expertise in advanced laparoscopic surgeries with a special interest in complex hernia surgeries, minimal access GI surgeries and Bariatric surgeries. He also holds expertise in minimal invasive abdominal wall reconstructive surgeries for complex and recurrent hernias, thyroid surgeries and laser proctology. He has special interest in Robotic assisted abdominal surgeries.
He has passion for providing quality care and delivering positive patient outcomes. Skilled in a wide range of surgical procedures and techniques, with a strong commitment to patient safety and satisfaction.
He is a member of various surgical societies and has presented papers in national and international conferences. He has trained many post graduate students and junior surgeons in advanced laparoscopic and robotic surgeries.
