Dr. Ramraj is a distinguished Lead Consultant – Gastrointestinal, General, Minimal Access & Bariatric Surgery at SPARSH Hospital, Hennur Road, with over 15 years of rich expertise in gastrointestinal surgery, advanced laparoscopic procedures, robotic interventions, and bariatric & metabolic surgery. He is known for his patient-centric approach, combining precision, safety, and evidence-based care to deliver optimal surgical outcomes.
An alumnus of M.S. Ramaiah Medical College and a DNB graduate from St. Philomena’s Hospital, Dr. Ramraj has further strengthened his clinical acumen with two full-time fellowships from RGUHS. His extensive training under leading experts in advanced laparoscopy and surgical gastroenterology has shaped his proficiency in managing complex gastrointestinal conditions with minimally invasive techniques.
He is a recipient of the prestigious International Travelling Fellowship Award from the Association of Colon and Rectal Surgeons of India (ACRSI) in colorectal surgery, through which he trained at St. Francis Hospital, Hartford, Connecticut, USA. A Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, he has also earned multiple fellowships in hepato-biliary pancreatic (HPB) surgery and robotic surgery, reflecting his commitment to advanced surgical excellence.
Dr. Ramraj has actively contributed to academic and clinical research, presenting numerous videos, papers, and posters at state and national conferences. He has also authored and co-authored several chapters in reputed textbooks on surgical gastroenterology, laparoscopy, and bariatric surgery, underscoring his dedication to advancing the field and sharing knowledge with the wider medical community.
