Dr. Yedin Chandra is a skilled Gastrointestinal and Minimal Access Surgeon with expertise in advanced laparoscopic, hepato-pancreato-biliary (HPB), bariatric, and colorectal surgery. He is committed to delivering safe, evidence-based, and patient-centred care, with a focus on minimally invasive techniques that support faster recovery and better outcomes.
He completed his MBBS and MS in General Surgery from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (KVG Medical College & Hospital) and pursued a Fellowship in Surgical Gastroenterology (FSGE) from the Institute of Gastroenterology Sciences and Organ Transplant (IGOT), RGUHS, Bengaluru. He has also completed a certificate course in Laser Proctology, enabling him to provide advanced treatment for anorectal conditions.
Dr. Yedin Chandra began his career as a Senior Resident at KVG Medical College and Hospital and later served rural communities in Mysore district under the Government of Karnataka, providing essential surgical care. He has also gained experience at leading institutions including IGOT, Fortis Healthcare, and Aster CMI Hospital, Bengaluru, where he was involved in managing complex gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary surgical cases
